Goals

Preschool Goal  Preschool students who are enrolled by November 2016 will improve their large group participation from 10/29 students participating without adult supports to most students participating independently by February 2017 as measured by the Preschool team created data collection sheets, observation and AEPS assessment.

Kindergarten Goal  - 12% (7/59) of kindergarten students knew at least 25/31 letter sounds or better at the beginning of the school year. By May 2017, most students will be able to identify 25/31 letter sounds as measured by the Kindergarten letter sounds assessment, Read Well unit assessments and DIBELS (Progress Monitoring and Benchmark NWF.)

1st Grade Goal  - Less than 20% of our first-grade students demonstrated proficiency with using addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems. Between November and February, most students will increase their ability to use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems demonstrated by a score of 3 as measured by the Bridges problem solving pre- and post-test and weekly common assessments.

2nd -6th Grade Reading Goal - Increase the number of Wildwood students who reach “proficient” on the STAR reading assessment.

45.1% of second grade students scored at or above proficient on the Fall STAR reading assessment.
47.2% of third grade students scored at or above proficient on the Fall STAR reading assessment.
42.4% of fourth grade students scored at or above proficient on the Fall STAR reading assessment.
53.4% of fifth grade students scored at or above proficient on the Fall STAR reading assessment.
38.5% of sixth grade students scored at or above proficient on the Fall STAR reading assessment.

Growth Target

Our students will show an improvement in their score by Spring 2017.

Safety -
We will conduct monthly drills and work with Emergency Responders to update emergency plans.


Communication -
We will work to increase communication with families through our school website, Facebook, and School Messenger. 
  

Technology - We will promote technology as a learning tool that will support teaching and learning with seamless integration throughout the curriculum.
